This course takes a person-first approach to appreciating and understanding LGBTQ+ people in the workplace and aims to leave learners feeling confident in how to be a good ally.

Join DEI & Leadership Coach Tom Crawford as he shares his own experiences as a gay man at work and takes us through some key definitions related to the LGBTQ+ community.

We’re reminded that LGBTQ+ people never stop coming out at work, and what are some of the main challenges they can face.

Learners will explore concepts like intersectionality and how to be a better ally through practical tools and tips, including understanding pronouns, calling out inappropriate language and shaping supportive conversations with LGBTQ+ colleagues.
